friendly and knowledgeable advice on sustainability
Brilliant concept and good quality products. These guys are really making a difference.
Love this little gem in the Open Market! Come and fill up your bottles of eco-friendly laundry detergent, washing up liquid, fabric softener or shampoo to cut down on plastic waste AND save money. Also a great place to buy food staples (like oats, bulgur wheat, couscous, dry beans, nuts, etc.) without the wasteful packaging. Love the little treats too (nut milks, chutneys, etc.). Bonus: the customer service is always very friendly!
The perfect one-stop zero waste shop in Brighton.
Super friendly owner who is happy to answer all questions. Great quality products, i’ll definitely visit regularly!
Love this place and go there often. Its open on Sunday now too. Take your own containers and get scoop and weigh to simultaneously reduce cost to you and waste from packaging. Think there’s an additional 10% off on Tuesdays if you do the taking of containers thing. There’s a name for this Tuesday thing which is memorable ( though I have forgotten it). Soap nuts are good things ( look, no washing powder or liquid!)The shelfie scheme is excellent too and has helped start up several food or cooking, or gardening businesses and projects. Look on Foodshed’s website for info on that but could sum up by saying a shelf for your business costs less than a stall would and gives a good window for your product without you having to make tons at the very outset of what you hope to sell.
A free library, fresh made energy balls …plants and seed bombs for guerrilla gardening… oh just go down and look!
